All Software NZ Alliance members are welcome to attend the NZ Software Association monthly networking meeting at member pricing.

This month, you can gain free advice from the experts: Selling & Licensing your Solutions or IP to a Large Corporate.

Selling & Licensing Your Solutions or IP to a Large Corporate: Advice from MYOB.

Synopsis:

Julian Smith, General Manager of MYOB NZ’s Business Division will present some ideas and advice on how to sell or license your solutions to a large corporate like MYOB. The informal, practical session will provide ideas and advice on how to grow your revenues or execute an exit strategy. Key areas of discussion are:

• What Corporates are generally looking for when seeking to license or acquire IP
• How Corporates behave and tips on to “engage” and “manage” them for maximum advantage
• Advice on securing and protecting your IP (including safeguarding source-code and version control)
• Due Diligence: What a corporate will want to know about your business / IP?

Members and non members are welcome to attend and network. The agenda is as follows;

• Registration at 5.30pm, nibbles and drinks (cash bar)
• Seated at 7pm, introductions
• Seated Dinner 7.10pm - 7.45pm
• GUEST SPEAKER 7.50pm - 8.20pm
